To help startups succeed you need a large network of resources. Today, we are pleased to announce our network is growing! The Sprint Accelerator is now a member of GAN, the Global Accelerator Network. GAN is an association of more than 70 of the most respected accelerator programs from six continents and in more than 1,000 cities.
As a member of GAN, the founders in our program also become members of GAN. Our memberships gives us access to resources, industry data, mentors, investors and free perks that we can offer to the companies that have graduated from or are selected for future programs. We also have access to other accelerator programs around the world to share best practices and create connections for our founders. Through GAN’s Exchange program our founders can visit other accelerator programs to make connections to other companies and mentors and be given up to 2-weeks free office space. Plus, our founders have access to dozens of perks that offer them free and discounted services to help run their businesses.
GAN has an outstanding track record of success. Believing that accelerators are the best method for startups to succeed, GAN has created a vetted and exclusive group of programs to help companies that are accepted into GAN accelerator programs. And, GAN has the data to prove it:
GAN Startups on a Global Basis
- 83% of startups are still in business
- $4.9B – total amount startups have raised
- 1 in 20 startups have had an exit
- 21,622 jobs created by startups

Corporate Partner Network
More and more corporations around the world are realizing they have the ability to support growing companies by providing resources, tools, connections and services that can help them grow. Because of this, GAN recently announced the formation of their corporate partner network. This new network aligns perfectly with our 2017 program. As we previously announced, our next program will be corporate sponsored allowing for increased collaboration among corporations and the startups in our program. Having access to this networks allows us to share what we’re doing but more importantly learn from other corporations who are regularly engaging with startup companies.
